Coleman Yoakum joins Liberation to discuss his work as Executive Director of Micah 6 Community. Micah 6 Community is a non-profit program that serves the needs of the less fortunate in Pontiac, Michigan. Micah 6 has home grown community gardens which gives away hundreds of pounds healthy food away to their neighbors and surrounding neighborhoods. They interact with drug addicts, low-income families and homeless people to not only make sure they can eat properly but they also extend their homes and provide them the gospel and the love of Christ.

Micah 6 Community also serves the community through a small year-round produce store called SPROUT. They also provide a summer kids camp and after school tutoring for neighborhood children, giving them opportunities for enrichment and field trips. Micah 6 helps bring the community together with neighborhood barbecues. We discuss this and so much more.
